Another Tour of the Trails

Still haven't taken full (or any) advantage of enjoying the forest trails lacing through and surrounding our Baxter community?  The Baxter Trail Club is offering another guided tour through a segment of the trails on Saturday, November 15.  Participants should assemble at 9:30 a.m. in front of Village Hall on Front Street.  Covering approximately a mile, the tour will proceed to trailhead E of the Birkshire loop (diagonally across from Village Hall) and then down through the Crooked Creek trail running behind Downing Drive.   From that point, participants may return to Village Hall by way of the same trails or by way of local streets.  Rides back to Village Hall will be available for those wishing for a lift. There will also be an option to continue a bit farther into the trails before returning.  The tour will be led by club member Robert Cirasa.  Participants should wear sturdy shoes and dress appropriately for whatever the weather may be.  (The tour will launch, rain or shine.)
